His Childhood was unlike many of us. His father moved out of the family leaving his son behind when he was just 15 months old. He was only raised by her mother who was also a drug addict. At age of 13 he left his home for good and started living with his girlfriend who in future become his wife. He then started with Rap batle's and won 2nd place in Rap Olympics in 1995 at Detroit. In the same year Eminem become father of his only child 'Hailey'. Whom he named after his Uncle Ronnie who died few years back. At that time his financial condition was so miserable that he couldn't even afford daipers for his daughter. But he did not give up. He released his 1st mixtape with his band D12. But only 600 copies were sold. Amazingly Dr. Dre got a copy of that mixtape in one of his friend basement and decided to meet him. But at that time Eminem wasn't even having decent clothes to wear for his most important meeting of his life. Dr.Dre said when he first saw shady, he was all dressed up in yellow clothes and was looking like a clown. But for a surprise that clown got offer to record his first studio album under Aftermath records which was owned by Dr.Dre himself. Dr.Dre is the best producer of all time. After that he never look back in his life uptill now. He has recorded 5 studio albums and sold over 72 millions copies worldwide which made him one of the biggest selling hip hop artist of all time. He also won many awards that list is too long to put up here. Now he's one of the richest hiphop artist in the industry. An actor who had won MTV Award for best actor 2003 for His movie '8 Mile' which was his semi-autobiographical movie. He was also appreciated for his role and movie was truely a Masterpeice. He's also a producer now who won an Academy Award for his song 'Lose Yourself' for his movie. An Enterpreneur who Owned his own record label, radio station and an clothing line. he is only person in this world whose song was #1, whose album was #1 and whose movie was #1 in the world at the same time in November 2003. So it'll be right if i say that he is greatest entertainer in the world alive. But he also went through many up's and down's in his life. He got divorced, his best friend got killed and his mother also filled many lawsuits against him. But despite of that he stood and never shown his back to anyone and faced all problems like a real man. Many critics also alleged that his lyrics gloryfied homophobioa, misogyny, voilence. But he always gets vindicated by people and now its been 5 years he havent released any album but Interscope confirmed that his most anticipated album King Mathers is due for late 2008. So that is a big news for all slim fans out there.

For me and my friends he is really a souce of inspiration. Look at his verbal enery his put in his songs and his quality of lyricism is just awesome. While other rappers talks about Drugs, Hoe's, Blings, Money, Cribs. He alwayz talk's about Life, Nation, Struggle, Pain and Success. He's the most responsible rapper ever happned to Hip Hop World. He struggled hard in his life and therefor he reserved his own place among top MC's ever. He reserved his own place where no caucasian has ever resverd. He performed with many legends and intoduced stars to hollywood. He is like a Daimond in the dirt. His life is all about struggle and we can easily take an example of it.
When i feel low and think that i am trapped in a cage and thers now way out of it. His songs give me strength to carry on and to tackle the difficulties. he is truely a lyrical genious still some people didnt get what he says because they don't go in depth with his songs and they just say "He sounds so fake", "he's using abusive words" Blah Blah Blah !!
'Lose yourself', 'Till i Collapse', 'Sing for the moment', 'Soldier', 'Rock bottom', '8 mile', 'Stan' etc are the songs with which anybody can easily relate their life and they are so inspiring. this list is just a tip of an ice berg his most of the songs are more or less the same. And they are for masses because they depict truth. He is also role model for millions worldwide, truely a lyrical wizard. He was also a common poor man so he knows very well what is a hunger. He struggled hard in his life and reached his destination.
